The Residency program in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at NYU Medical Center provides a well-rounded experience in developmental and behavioral issues in the personal and familial lives of typically developing children and children who have developmental/behavioral dysfunction.

About the Residency
The purpose of the Residency program is to develop well rounded residents with an understanding of the family, social, and school issues that face typically developing children and children who have developmental/behavioral dysfunction through hands-on experience.

Program Goals
Goals for the Residency program include understanding of typical behavior and development of children as well as assessment and management of atypical conditions for children who have developmental or behavioral dysfunction.
