PCPH Career Mentors
Career mentors provide individualized mentoring for scholars to
establish a learning contract, help the student prepare for the
summer and fall, and initiate discussion about possible projects
and clinical site placements.
PCPH Research Mentors
Scholars are divided into two working groups for ongoing discussion
of research methods. Sundar
Natarajan, MD and Nirav
Shah, MD, MPH, assistant professors for the Section of Primary
Care in the Department of Medicine, facilitate these monthly meetings
with the scholars throughout the 4 years of the program curriculum.
Sessions are ogranized as a purely learner centered activity and
are driven by the needs of the group.
Individual Research Mentors
As a PCPH Scholar identifies a Medically Underserved Community
(MUC) and a project, individualized mentoring will be arranged with
appropriate faculty mentors.
