In its inaugural year, the Primary Care and Public Health (PCPH) Scholars Program inducted 18 students into the program. Although hailing from a variety of backgrounds expressing interest in several different subject areas, all scholars shared the same core interest in primary care, public health, health and human rights and community medicine. In 2005, the PCPH Scholars Program plans to welcome the second class of students to the program.
