The Patient Library provides a free lending service from a large collection of books and cassettes in English and other languages.

Biographies, how-to books, works of fiction, and books on history, travel, sports, and health are all available for patients to read while they are in the hospital.

Large-print and talking books are available for patients with impaired vision. Prism glasses are available for patients who have to read lying down.
