Current Lab Members:

	Kerstin Baer joined the lab in the fall of 2004 to work on her PhD thesis. Before coming to New York, she earned her D.V.M. degree at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Hannover, Germany. She is now studying the role of Kupffer cells for Plasmodium sporozoite entry into the liver.
	Christian Klotz is a postdoctoral fellow studying Plasmodium sporozoite interaction with Kupffer cells. He is in particular interested in mechanisms Plasmodium sporozoites have acquired to interfere with Kupffer cell activation.
