News and Notes about PANY Members

Changes in the PANY Bulletin Editorial Staff
After seven years of serving as Associate Editor of the PANY Bulletin, Dr. Rita Clark is leaving the staff of the Bulletin. Dr. Clark assumed the position of Associate Editor when I took over as Editor. Particularly in that transitional period, she was an invaluable contributor, editing reports sent to the Bulletin and working with reporters to get them to us. She has also been a frequent contributor to the Bulletin. This is the proper time for me, particularly, and for all of us to thank her for her work.

Dr. Clark is being replaced on the masthead by Dr. Alice Maher. Dr. Maher has also been a frequent contributor of her own written thoughts, as is evidenced by her very provocative essay in this issue. As Associate Editor, she will be particularly working with the assignment and completion of scientific meeting reports, but will also be a willing hand to call on for suggestions and help with other matters concerning the production of the PANY Bulletin.

We have added Dr. Janice Lieberman to our Book Review Editorial Staff. Dr. Lieberman is herself a published author and reviewer.

This offers me another opportunity to thank Dr. Charles Goodstein for his unseen but important contribution to the printing and distribution of the PANY Bulletin. HHS
