Dr.
Blanck is Professor and Chairman of Anesthesiology at the New York University
School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University
of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and his doctoral degree in biochemistry
from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Arts & Sciences.
Dr.Blanck has established a distinguished leadership role in the field
of anesthesiology. He has served as Chairman of the Scientific Advisory
Board of the Association of University Anesthesiologists. Dr.Blanck
has also served on numerous National Institute of Health study sections.
Dr. Blanck has contributed to over 50 publications in scientific peer-reviewed
journals and over 50 abstracts, and has been the Principal Investigator
on 16 National Institue of Health or private foundation grants. Dr.Blanck
has presented at numerous national and regional scientific meetings.
His deep interest in the field of pain management is reflected in his
commitment to the NYU Pain Management Center. He remains devoted to
maintaining a truly interdisciplinary diagnostic and treatment facility
designed to help those suffering from acute and chronic pain.
