Orthopaedic Research
The Shoulder and Elbow Research Group was established in 1989 and continues to perform both clinical and basic science research projects on a wide variety of topics pertinent to shoulder and elbow problems, including treatment for adhesive capsulitis, correlation between MRI findings and intraoperative pathology in labral tears and in the ulnar collateral ligament of the elbow, proprioception changes in instability and arthritis, and functional outcomes of arthroscopic and open rotator cuff repairs.
