Clinical Responsibilities
Dr. Sheskier is a board certified orthopedic surgeon that has been servicing the foot and ankle needs of the Tri-state area for over 20 years. He has particular expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of complex foot and ankle problems including re-do or "revision" surgery. He is the senior member of the Foot and Ankle service at the NYU-Hospital for Joint Diseases where he was the co-director of the Foot service with Dr. Melvin Jahss before resuming private practice.He co-founded the Diabetic Foot and Ankle center at NYU-HJD and remains an active member of its staff.He is involved in overseas outreach projects most recently in Vietnam and Cuba. He is an active member of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He also is a consultant to the New York Rangers hockey team and the Joffery School of Ballet.
