The NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases Department of Orthopaedic Surgery has created a state-of -the art Joint Replacement Center staffed by its Adult Reconstructive Service faculty and dedicated to providing the finest surgical and therapeutic care in the treatment and rehabilitation of joints afflicted by arthritis and other causes that affect joint mobility and usage.

Our world-renowned surgeons perform over 2000 joint replacement surgeries annually and are actively involved in each patient’s personalized care, from preoperative diagnostic testing through postoperative therapies. Specialists from fields including rehabilitation medicine, pain management, radiology and neurology are also consulted, providing an interdisciplinary approach that enhances the patient experience.
