Tisch Hospital is the clinical facility of NYU Medical Center. The orthopaedic service at Tisch Hospital includes a comprehensive array of subspecialties including trauma, adult reconstruction, spine, sports medicine, hand, orthopaedic oncology, foot and ankle and pediatrics.
In addition to providing all inpatient and emergency orthopaedic care at Tisch Hospital, the NYU HJD Department of Orthopaedic Surgery also maintains faculty practice offices in a range of subspecialties at Tisch.
The Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine is an acute-care facility that has been consistently rated among the top ten facilities of its kind nationwide. The association of Tisch Hospital with the New York University School of Medicine provides the opportunity for basic science research in addition to the clinical research conducted by faculty at the medical center.
