Patrick Meere, MD, of the Adult Reconstructive Division of the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, has been recognized by the Arhtritis Foundation as the recipient of the 2008 Arthritis Walk Award.

Dr. Meere has been very active in the Arthritis Foundation's annual walk by creating his own team, which includes many of his patients. Over the past three years his efforts have raised over $25,000 for the Arthritis Foundation. This award recognizes Dr. Meere's accomplishments and his personal commitment to the fight against arthritis.
