Clinical Responsibilities
Dr. Goldstein is the Director of the Spine Service at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. His expertise is in spinal surgery, and includes the neck (cervical) and back (thoracic and lumbar). Most patients have been referred to Dr. Goldstein for a surgical consultation. His practice focuses on degenerative diseases, disk herniation, stenosis, deformity, scoliosis,trauma, and tumors. Dr. Goldstein is a leader in the area of minimally-invasive spine surgery and artificial disk replacement. He has distinguished himself as an innovator and researcher. He has published numerous articles in both national and international journals and lectured around the world. Dr. Goldstein has been recognized as one of New York's Best Doctors.
