In order to prepare students for their initial clinical clerkships, the Office of Medical Education and the Clerkship Directors have designed and implemented a two-week curriculum that better prepares the students to “hit the ground running” on their clerkships. This mandatory orientation is held after second year, during the last two weeks of June. Orientation sessions include hands-on, practical, cross-disciplinary skills vital to all clerkships.
