The Upper Extremity Program is designed to evaluate and treat upper extremity musculoskeletal injuries and disorders and to prevent cumulative trauma disorders (CTD). It is multidisciplinary and includes orthopaedics, physical therapy, ergonomics and stress management as needed. The goal of the program is to improve functional performance at work and during daily activities in order to prevent or decrease time away from productive activities.
Participation in the Upper Extremity Program is initiated with a thorough medical and functional evaluation that is performed by the clinical team. This rehabilitation program is individually designed with special emphasis on the following:
