Divisional/Program Contact: Anna Davis

 

Dr. Livia S. Wan is Director of the Family Planning and Reproductive Choice Program. Dr. Wan completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Philadelphia General Hospital and has been interested in laparoscipic procedures since her research fellowship at the Pennsylvania Hospital. She joined the faculty at the New York University School of Medicine in 1969 and is responsible for the initiation of endoscopic procedures at New York University.

Dr. Miriam Cremer (MD, MPH) is a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist who completed her fellowship in family planning at the University of Southern California in 2005. She is the founder of Basic Health, El Salvador, a public health non-governmental organization based in San Salvador, El Salvador, which focuses on contraception and cervical cancer screening. She has received multiple grants for public health projects both nationally and internationally. Her specific research interests include: cervical cancer screening, adolescent comprehension of emergency contraception and post-abortion contraception, and improving contraceptive services worldwide.
