Cancer education in New York City, including Insights in Context lecture series for patients, families, future healthcare professionals, and the NYC community and Man to Man® Prostate Cancer Education and Support.

Screenings
Cancer is more likely to be cured when detected in its earliest stages. Each year, the NYU Cancer Institute provides screenings for the most common cancers, at no cost to the patient.

Speakers Bureau
Schedule a lecture on cancer research, screening and prevention, patient care, tailored to the specific needs of your audience. Topics include colorectal cancer, prostate cancer, skin cancer and melanoma, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, gynecologic cancers, lung cancer, issues of surviving cancer.

Lynne Cohen High Risk Women's Clinics
Lynne Cohen Screening and Prevention Clinics at NYU Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital, providing services for women at high risk for breast cancer and ovarian cancer.

Artist-in-Residence Program
Artists who work bedside and in small groups with patients, family members, and staff in the inpatient and outpatient units.

AMBER - Arab American Breast Cancer Education and Referral Program
Working with a number of community organizations, mosques, churches, and healthcare facilities, the, AMBER: Arab-American Breast Cancer Education and Referral program, offers culturally appropriate education and services focusing on early detection, risk assessment, and provider training.

Support for Chinese-speaking Patients
Dedicated cancer outreach effort for Chinese immigrants living in New York City, conducted by NYU Cancer Institute with the NYU Center for Immigrant Health, Bellevue Hospital Center Department of Social Work, and the American Cancer Society Asian Initiatives.
