Some 713 men came through NYU's doors in June to receive a free prostate cancer screening, compliments of the New York Daily News. "New York's Hometown Paper" ran its seventh annual prostate cancer screening at multiple locations in the tri-state area, including the NYU Cancer Institute. Co-sponsored with the Department of Urology, the screening program included free blood tests for prostate-specific antigen (PSA, a marker of prostate cancer growth).
