Stand-Up for Healthcare Access 2007 NYCFC Benefit
On March 19th, the NYCFC held its 2nd annual "Stand-Up for Healthcare Access," a comedy show and dinner benefit for NYU's all-volunteer student-run free clinic for the uninsured at the Kimmel Center in Washington Square. The event featured over 90 minutes of stand-up comedy from a lineup of comics rivaling New York's best comedy clubs. Thanks to the almost 350 generous people in attendance and the terrific support of our sponsors, the NYCFC was able to raise more than $20,000 that will go directly to providing healthcare for our uninsured patients.
