Gregg Rogell

Intelligent, insightful, irreverent, Gregg Rogell is a comedian whose boyish appearance masks an edgy bite. Born in Long Island, New York, Gregg quickly rose through the club ranks, and established himself as one of the top working stand-ups, in the country. Within three years, his list of television credits included "Evening at the Improv," "Carolines Comedy Hour," "The MTV Half Hour Comedy Hour," "Comic Strip Live," "VH1 Stand Up Spot Light," "E! Stand Up Sit Down, with Robert Klien," "Two Drink Minimum," and the list goes on.

Gregg has since gone on to play featured roles in the hit movies "The Aristocrats" and "Half-Baked." He has made several appearances on the "Tonight Show" and can be recognized from his recurring role as "Kenny" on the CBS Sitcom "The Nanny." Gregg's success has earned him sitcom development deals from NBC and Disney.

In 1999, Gregg won Backstage Magazine's "Bistro Award" for "Best Comedy performer." He also made his second performance at the Gala at the Montreal Comedy Festival, and in 2002 traveled to Guantanamo Bay Cuba, where he entertained the troops on Comedy Central's USO Comedy Tour. In 2003, Gregg had his own half-hour comedy special for "Comedy Central Presents" at the Hudson Theatre in NYC.

Gregg performs regularly at all the NY City Clubs, and tours nationally as a headliner, at clubs, colleges, corporate, and charity events. He also performs in Europe, were he has appeared on several popular television programs. He recently completed a documentary with the BBC in association with Comedy Central, and was featured on a cd "Stand up America" recorded in London, England in 2000.
