• 35 bed unit
• 27 general beds
• 4 bed Stroke Unit
• 4 bed Medical Step Down Unit
• Primary patient population are adults with a variety of Medical and Neurological Diagnosis, including but not limited to:
• Stroke
• Movement Disorders
• Infectious Disease
• Endocrine
• Gastroenterology
• Care is focused on the management of patients in  promoting wellness and comfort inclusive of geriatric population
• Evidence based practice patient care
• As a 17 East staff member you will become part of the interdisciplinary team, collaborating closely with:
• Nursing Attendants
• Nurse Practitioners
• Nursing Management
• Medical and Neurology Physicians
• Care Managers
• Social Workers
• Nutritionists
• Physical Therapists
• Occupational Therapists
