Alex Y. Bekker, MD, PhD

Dr. Bekker is Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Neurosurgery. His laboratory is focused on the cognitive effects of inhalational anesthetics, as well as expanding the clinical applications of total intravenous anesthesia (TIVA), including in the context of awake craniotomy for functional brain mapping.
