NYU was one of the first institutions in the world with a clinical MEG unit. Numerous experimental studies have been published using this innovative technology. Now NYU has two MEG machines that are used for projects to evaluate seizure disorders and eloquent brain function near brain lesions that may undergo surgical removal.
