
Tisch University Hospital is a full-service acute care facility possessing 850 beds. Approximately 1,800 neurosurgical procedures are performed here yearly with four to five dedicated neurosurgical operating rooms being utilized Monday through Thursday.

A state-of-the-art neurosurgical intensive care/postoperative unit has ten beds and is adjacent to the neurosurgical floor containing another 18 beds. The renowned Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine (RIRM) is connected to Tisch Hospital is often used for subacute neurosurgical rehabilitation.
