Introduction
NYUs Child Neurology Residency Training Program is an ACGME-accredited training program offering two training tracks, both beginning with a year of adult neurology. The three-year clinical track requires at least two years of preliminary pediatrics training in a U.S. ACGME-accredited program. The four-year research track requires one year of preliminary pediatrics training in a U.S.-accredited program and includes a fourth year of research in neurogenetics and metabolic disorders. Graduates are eligible to take the certifying examinations offered by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology. NYUs child neurology program accepts one to two residents each year.
