Department of Neuroscience & Physiology Education

PhD Training Program

Our interdisciplinary PhD Training Program in Neuroscience gives graduate students access to resources and faculty from NYU Langone’s Vilcek Institute of Graduate Biomedical Sciences and NYU’s Center for Neural Science.

Under the guidance of a faculty mentor, you have the opportunity to perform research in a range of fields, from systems neuroscience to translational and clinical neuroscience. Our curriculum is customized to match your research interests, and our labs are equipped with the latest technologies, giving you the experience you need to launch your career and make an impact on the field.

MD/PhD Program

NYU Grossman School of Medicine’s MD/PhD program is a National Institutes of Health–recognized Medical Scientist Training Program that merges the fundamentals of scientific inquiry with the insights and experience of clinical care. Our rigorous dual curriculum prepares physician–scientists for the challenges of academic medicine and fundamental biomedical research.

Postdoctoral Training

Research Associates Program
