Research Interests
Molecular Biology and Genetics of Staphylococcus Aureus
Current focus is on the regulation of virulence genes by a peptide-based quorum-sensing system and on mobile, phage-related pathogenicity islands encoding toxic shock toxin and other superantigen toxins.
