The pre-clinical training of medical students includes didactic sessions offered by division faculty in physiology and the basics of pulmonary medicine. During their clinical years, medical students rotate in the Medical Intensive Care Unit, where instruction is provided by division faculty, and can take electives in the Chest and Asthma Clinics, as well as in the pulmonary function laboratory and pulmonary consult service.
