Division Director Dr. Joel Ernst to chair NIH Review Committee: Dr. Ernst was recently appointed to chair the Host Interactions with Bacterial Pathogens Initial Review Group, which reviews NIH grant proposals for studies of innate and adaptive immunity to bacterial pathogens, and the mechanisms used by pathogens to evade or subvert immunity.
