Developing physician-scientists who will approach the practice of medicine with discipline, compassion and professionalism.
First Year
Two modules challenge students to explore patient-physician relationships and basic clinical processes.
Second Year
Students explore the mechanisms of disesase, taking a medical history, performing detailed physical examinations and more.
Clinical Years
Clerkships provide intense, concentrated exposure to various clinical settings and processes.

The medical student teaching service is divided into eight Firms, each named for a distinguished figure in the history of the department.
