Each year of the Primary Care Residency program is comprised of thirteen 4-week blocks.
PGY 1
- 3½ blocks (14 weeks) in Primary Care
- 2 blocks (8 weeks) each in Bellevue Hospital wards, Tisch and VA wards, and ICU/CCU/MICU/TICU/VAICU
- 1 block (4 weeks) each in Heme-onc or Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center or Virology, Night Float, and vacation
- ½ block (2 weeks) in Jeopardy
PGY 2
- 3½ blocks (14 weeks) in Primary Care
- 2 blocks (8 weeks) in CCU/TICU/VAICU
- 1½ blocks (6 weeks) in Tisch or VA wards
- 1 block (4 weeks) each in Bellevue Hospital wards, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center or Virology, Chest Service, Emergency Room, and vacation
- ½ block (2 weeks) each in Night Float and Jeopardy
PGY 3
- 6½ blocks (26 weeks) in Primary Care
- 1½ blocks (6 weeks) each in MICU/CCU and Medical Consultation
- 1 block (4 weeks) each in Bellevue Hospital wards and vacation
- ½ block (2 weeks) each in Tisch or VA wards, Night Float, and Jeopardy
