Masters of Science in Clinical Investigation

NYU School of Medicine is pleased to announce they are accepting applications for July 2007 for our Fellowship in Medicine and Public Health Research.  This innovative program is designed to prepare physician-scientists for research careers at the interface of medicine and public health, addressing health promotion, disease prevention and preparedness. The fellowship is intended for persons completing residency training in internal medicine, emergency medicine or pediatrics.

Despite enormous strides in medical science and record high spending on health care, translation of many of our scientific and medical advances into improved population health has not been achieved. This schism between “medicine” and “public health” comes at great cost to society.

Graduates of this unique program will contribute to the public’s health through

  • Research
  • Scholarship
  • Leadership
