Division of General Internal Medicine & Clinical Innovation Clinical Services

We provide inpatient and ambulatory care for acute and chronic diseases.

In the Division of General Internal Medicine and Clinical Innovation at NYU Langone, our internists provide a wide range of primary care and general internal medicine health services for people with common medical conditions in the New York metropolitan area and beyond.

General internal medicine physicians at NYU Langone’s Tisch Hospital and Kimmel Pavilion, NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn, NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, NYC Health + Hospitals/Gotham Health Gouverneur, and the VA NY Harbor Healthcare System work together as one faculty to provide outstanding, evidence-based, compassionate clinical care.

As general internists, our faculty practice primary care and internal medicine including geriatric medicine and LGBTQ+ care, as well as care for patients at NYU Langone’s Joan H. Tisch Center for Women’s Health and Preston Robert Tisch Center for Men’s Health.

Our faculty have expertise in diagnosis and management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, obesity, heart disease, hypertension, high cholesterol, and substance use disorders. Those who specialize in hospital medicine also co-manage complex conditions for patients who have surgical procedures at our hospitals.

Throughout NYU Langone’s extensive network of ambulatory practices in New York City, Long Island, Westchester County, and locations in southeast Florida, we provide preventive care and treatment for acute and chronic illness and coordinate care for patients who have medically complex conditions.

Our physicians regularly share best practices across all of our locations to ensure that we deliver consistent, high-quality, patient-centered healthcare.
