Antoinette Schoenthaler, Ed.D., Receives Junior Faculty Award at Research Day


Antoinette Schoenthaler, Ed.D.

Antoinette Schoenthaler, Ed.D., has received the Junior Faculty Award for her poster presentation in the 2009 Department of Medicine Research Day, which took place on May 6th. Dr. Schoenthaler's award-winning poster, entitled "Unfair Treatment Predicts Masked Hypertension in a Community Sample of Black and Latino(a) Adults", is viewable by clicking on the link below.

Dr. Schoenthaler joined the DGIM faculty in 2008 and is a part of the Center for Healthful Behavior Change. She has an Ed.D. in Health Education and Behavior from Columbia University and has focused most of her research on racial disparities in cardiovascular health and doctor-patient communication.
