David Marcus, Ph.D., earned the 2007 Best Poster Award in the Biology of Aging category from the American Geriatrics Society.

His poster, entitled "Regulation of Apoptosis in Alzheimer's Disease," received the highest rankings from poster reviewers in the Presidential Poster Session at the AGS annual meeting.

The research relates to the reduction of beta amyloid toxicity in Alzheimer's Disease by treatment with Lithium.
