Joshua Lee, MD, Receives 2007 Best Abstract Award from AMERSA

Joshua Lee , M.D.

Dr. Joshua Lee's "Effectiveness of Buprenorphine vs. Methadone Maintenance in Jail and Post-Release: A Pilot Study" was named as the year's best abstract by the Executive Board of the Association for Medical Education and Research in Substance Abuse (AMERSA).

The award recognizes outstanding original research in substance abuse. This study is being completed with coinvestigators at National Development and Research Institutes (Stephen Magura, PI) and is supported by a grant from National Institute on Drug Abuse. 

Dr. Lee will give a presentation of the abstract on Saturday, November 10th at the Hilton Embassy Row in Washington, DC.
