[Listen to the presentations online or download podcasts of the talks, below]

Dr. Saul J. Farber was the pre-eminent medical educator of his generation: scholar, scientist, humanist, and doctor.
He cared for the poor and the privileged, and set an example for countless students and physicians.
His students became doctors and teachers as well, passing the torch of his wisdom to new generations of students, and to their patients. His influence upon us all was immense.
On February 28, 2008, his colleagues celebrated his achievements and remembered him with great fondness, admiration, and appreciation.
After welcoming remarks by Martin J. Blaser, M.D., Chair of the Department of Medicine at the NYU School of Medicine, and opening remarks by Robert Grossman, M.D., The Saul J. Farber Dean and CEO of the NYU Medical Center, guest speakers paid tribute to Dr. Farber’s life and legacy. They included Barry S. Coller, MD, John I. Gallin, MD, Robert Finberg, MD, and Richard I.
