Clinical Correlations voted Best Clinical Sciences Weblog of 2008

Clinical Correlations, the NYU Internal Medicine Blog, was named the "best clinical Sciences weblog" for 2008, by MedGadget, an "internet journal of emerging medical technologies."

The MedGadget announcement states, "The Best Clinical Sciences Weblog of 2008 is Clinical Correlations, a group effort by physicians from NYU's Department of Medicine. As one of the most professional and meticulously edited medical blogs, Clinical Correlations provides clinically useful commentary and analysis of the latest in the science of medicine. We congratulate all the individual authors and editors of this extraordinary blog."

Clinical Correlations competed against similar efforts internationally and received this recognition for its work with a characteristically collegial note on the blog:

"We are proud to announce that Clinical Correlations has been voted the Best Clinical Sciences Weblog of 2008 in Medgadget’s 5th annual Medical Weblog Awards. First, we’d like to congratulate all the other nominees and winners. It’s exciting to see such incredible content throughout the medical blogosphere and to share this recognition with so many others who clearly display a passion for medicine. We’d also like to sincerely thank all of our readers, writers and editors for their continued support and for making this award possible."
