Bellevue Literary Review Editorial Staff
The editorial staff of the BLR includes both NYU and non-NYU personnel. From the Department of Medicine are:
- Danielle Ofri, M.D., Ph.D., D.Litt. (Hon) (Editor-in-Chief)
- Jerome Lowenstein, M.D. (Nonfiction Editor)
- Stacy Bodziak, M.A. (Managing Editor)
- Martin J. Blaser, M.D. (Publisher)
Non-departmental editors include:
- Ronna Wineberg, J.D. (Fiction Editor)
- Corie Feiner, M.F.A. (Poetry Editor)
- Frances Richey (Poetry Editor)
- Doris Milman, M.D. (Copy Editor)
- Suzanne McConnell, M.F.A. (Assistant Editor)
The Editorial Board consists of 24 writers and reviewers, many of whom are from the Medical Center. Another 40 reviewers assist in vetting manuscripts. Invaluable assistance is also provided by Troi Santos, Melissa Flanagan, Elsa Nuņez, and Lucy Cribben, all of the Department of Medicine. In addition, the BLR sponsors interns, at both the high school and college levels.
