The NYU Fertility Center was initiated in 1992. Through the years, the program quickly grew to be one of the largest and best. Throughout its existence, the staff has pioneered new innovations in areas such as preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), blastocyst culture and oocyte freezing.
The physicians at NYU Fertility Center are regularly invited to discuss their research at national and international meetings. They have published hundreds of papers on their infertility and surgical research.
Over the years we have successfully performed over 10,000 retrievals and helped bring nearly 5,000 babies into this world. Our high success rates, including many difficult cases that were labeled untreatable by other centers, has put NYU on the map as one of the best programs in the nation and even the world.
