NYU Medical Center
Schwartz Lecture Hall
30th Street between 1st Avenue and the FDR Drive
The practice of medicine is generally thought of in the context of
restoring health and prolonging life. But war, poverty, AIDS, and
repression have prompted many to speak out and challenge injustice
under arduous and sometimes perilous conditions. Profiles in Courage
will honor international health activists, and invites health professionals,
students and others to engage in some of the most pressing issues
of our time. The Conference is free.
Registration for the Conference is FULL at this time.
