Where do I get scrubs/white coats?

Tisch Hospital:Long white NYU coats and scrubs can be obtained across from the main elevators (A) on the ground floor in room HG-68A.  You must present your New York University Medical Center ID card when picking up long coats. The Linen Services number at TH is (212)263-3134.

Bellevue Hospital:

To obtain scrubs from Bellevue, the first step is to pick up a form named Bellevue Hospital Center Materials Division-Scrub Size Survey. This form can be picked up in room 14W20A.  This form needs to be filled out and signed by a supervisor in your department.  The form must then be taken back to room 14W20A and a "Scrub Card" will be issued. This card can be used in the scrub machines located on that floor.  Follow the directions on the machine to obtain your scrubs.  Please note that not all departments (such as Internal Medicine or Neurology) are listed on the form, thus you will not be able to get scrubs at BH if you choose to put your correct department name.  The Linen Services at BH can be reached at (212)562-4054, or you can call the BH House Staff Office if you have problems at (212)562-4055.

VA Hospital:

Scrubs can easily be accessed at the VA hospital on the 4th floor Operating Room area.  Once again it may be difficult to get scrubs for residents from departments who do not normally visit the OR.  VA white coats (not usually used by house staff) can be found on the 3rd floor past the kitchen on the right hand side, from 7:30 AM to 10AM, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  You need to show you VA ID in order to receive a coat
