Nuclear Medicine

Nuclear Medicine at HJD offers a wide range of services. We specialize in bone scanning with a full range of SPECT (tomographic) capability. Infection imaging is available with state-of-the-art agents. A full spectrum of non-cardiac imaging is provided including lung scanning, renal scanning and semi-quantitative analysis, as well as tumor imaging.

The service at HJD is fully integrated with the rest of the Nuclear Medicine Section of NYU. Through these integrated services, all cardiac and tumor imaging including F-18 FDG scanning and radiolabeled monoclonal antibody imaging are offered to HJD patients.
