The Orthopaedic & Sports Therapy Center specializes in the evaluation and treatment of orthopaedic and sports-related injuries and in postoperative care following orthopaedic surgery. We serve a diverse patient population that ranges in age from pre-teen to 65+. It is not uncommon to see our physical therapists working with athletes and senior citizens, students and Broadway performers.
The Orthopaedic & Sports Therapy Center also serves as the physical therapy clinic for the internationally recognized Harkness Center for Dance Injuries. Our physical therapists provide care for dancers and other performing artists including members of New York City dance companies and Broadway productions.
Our staff of highly skilled, caring professional is our greatest asset. Our therapists have earned widely respected advanced degrees and certifications including Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT), Board Certified Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (OCS), and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Staff members publish articles in scientific journals, teach continuing education courses on current treatment concepts, and lecture at national and international symposia.
