The Center for Growth offers comprehensive, state-of-the-art care to patients with skeletal dysplasia. Its goal is to optimize the physical, social and psychological well-being of patients. This multi-disciplinary program provides diagnosis, prevention and treatment throughout a patient’s life. Patients are evaluated by a team of specialists, which include geneticists, orthopaedic surgeons, neurologists and neurosurgeons.

Conditions We Treat

• Skeletal dysplasia: A genetic disorder of skeletal growth that affects an individual’s bones and cartilage. Patients with this condition are often short in stature and acquire other bone deformities.

• Surgical intervention to straighten patient’s legs and ease pressure on joints
• Limb lengthening
