Parents, caregivers, family members, and patients may use our Resource Center (Library) to meet with our librarian or to access quality health information.

In addition to resources that may be found freely online, in-person visitors who come to our library may also access the wealth of electronic resources that are only available to members of the NYU Medical Center community. Many of the electronic books, journals, and databases are intended for a biomedical researchers, clinicians, and health care providers; however, there are a number of resources that are intended for consumers.

Parents, family members, and caregivers may set up an individual consultation with our Family Health Librarian who will work with them to find articles and resources that answer their questions and that help them make informed decisions.

Visitors to the library may also access non-medical resources such as online newspapers and magazines.
