FACES children's events are free for children with epilepsy, their siblings and parents.

Through the Looking Glass: Fighting Stigmas and Delivering Treatment for Epilepsy and Mental Illness in West Africa  

On Wednesday, November 7, 2007, The Foundazione Saint Camille de Lellis presented a special free lecture in conjunction with faces and the NYU Comprehensive Epilepsy Center on the needs and challenges of treating people with Epilepsy and mental illnesses in West Africa. 2007 Epilepsy Conference
On Saturday, October 27, 2007, faces hosted t the annual epilepsy conference featuring lectures and other topics of interest to the epilepsy community. Game Day at Chelsea Piers
Faces hosted another successful Game Day at Chelsea Piers on Saturday, September 29, 2007, and event for children with epilepsy, their siblings and families to enjoy a free day of great sports, arts and crafts, fun foods and, of course, games. We had around 500 attendees who joined us at the wonderful Chelsea Piers Field House. Many thanks to all of our volunteers for making this a memorable occasion.

2007 Evening Lecture Series
The NYU Comprehensive Epilepsy Center and FACES are proud to sponsor the 3rd Annual Evening Epilepsy Lecture Series for Parents and Adults. Doctors at NYU will personally conduct the lectures and take time to answer questions following each presentation.

FACES Gala 2007
On Monday, March 5, 2007, faces held their annual Gala and Auction at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers in New York City. The event was a superb success, raising over $4.3 million for epilepsy research and clinical programs.  Faces extends our deepest gratitude to Gala Chairs Lannie and Howie Lipson for their exceptional dedication and commitment and Kathyann Gruss, our outstanding Auction Chair.  Thank you to Leah Weisberg and Randi Levine as well as all the other people who gave generously of their time and talents to make this event a success.  We are grateful to the guests who joined us on event night, all who participated, including those that gave to the auction, journal and of course, our wonderful volunteers. Special thanks to Hugh Hildesley and Tiki Barber for taking part in the evening's ceremonies.
