BNOEMC's primary objective is to develop a scientifically sound, public health oriented research program focused on occupational and environmental conditions in human populations

- Upper extremity cumulative trauma disorders
- Occupational disease screening by physicians
- Respiratory toxicology

- Work-related Asthma Study in Bellevue Hospital Center
- World Trade Center Worker and Volunteer Screening Program & Medical Monitoring Program (in collaboration with Mount Sinai Medical Center)
