Directions

There are 3 Bellevue Hospital Buildings: Old Bellevue, Main Building, and Ambulatory Care Building. Our patient care clinic for Occupational and Environmental patients is located within the Ambulatory Care Building (Glass Building). World Trade Center Medical Screening and Monitoring Patients are seen in the Main building. Please make sure you were given an appointment before coming to BNOEMC.

Clinic patients: Enter the Bellevue Hospital on First Avenue between 27th and 28th Street. Walk and turn left to take elevators to the second floor. Register at 2C or the business ofiice before arriving at our clinic located in section 2E.

World Trade Center Medical Screening & Monitoring patients: Enter the Bellevue Hospital on First Avenue between 27th and 28th Street. Walk past guards and turn right at emergency room, then turn left at gift shop, walk straight down to take elevators to the eighth floor. Go to 8E.

Via Public Transportation:

By Subway:
Take the #6 train to 28th Street station. Walk 4 blocks east to 1st Avenue.
OR
Take any train (A, B, C, D, E, F, N, Q, R or 1, 2, 3, 4, 9) to 34th Street or 23rd Street. From 34th Street, take M16 to 2nd Avenue and 28th Street and walk 1 block east to 1st Avenue. From 23rd Street, take M23 to 1st Avenue and 23rd Street and walk to 27th Street.

By Bus:
Take the M15 or M21 to 26th Street and 1st Avenue. Please note that if you're coming from uptown, these buses will run on 2nd Avenue, in which case you'll have to walk one block east to 1st Avenue.

Via Car:
From Southbound FDR Drive: Take FDR to 34th Street exit. Follow service road (parallel to FDR) for about 6 blocks, continuing across 34th Street and past NYU. The Main Bellevue Hospital Building is on your right. Make a right turn to the front entrance of the building.

From Northbound FDR Drive: Take FDR to 23rd Street exit. Follow service road (parallel to FDR) north to 26th Street and make a left over to 1st Avenue. Make a right on 1st Avenue to 29th Street. Make a right on 29th Street over to the service road. Make a right onto the service road parallel to the FDR. Go south with the New Bellevue Hospital Building on your right. (You have now circled the hospital). Make a right turn to the front entrance of the building.
