Research
The division conducts clinical research in many areas of rhinology
including pathophysiology, management and image guided surgical
therapy
for chronic rhinosinusitis. Drs. Jacobs, Lebowitz and Lee have
contributed substantially to peer reviewed literature within the
subspecialty.
Education
Education of residents and medical students is a priority. An active
conference program is combined with clinical teaching within the
operating room as well as within outpatient facilities. Cooperation with
other departments such as Radiology, Neurosurgery, Oral Surgery and
Pathology supplements the educational process. The division routinely
organizes CME educational programs both locally and nationally which is
attended by our resident and medical student group. Our residents and
students are given the opportunity to present at local and national
meetings.
